65 Movie 2023 Review Trailer Poster Online

Adam Driver is battling otherworldly creatures once again in the first trailer for the upcoming apocalyptic action thriller "65." Directed by "A Quiet Place" writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, the upcoming film also stars "In the Heights" star Ariana Greenblatt and "Big Little Lies" alum Chloe Coleman. The film centers on an astronaut who crash-lands on a mysterious planet and discovers that he is not alone.

“65” is produced by Sam Raimi, released by Sony Pictures. Danny Elfman is composing the film's music. The Beck/Woods writers declined to work with LucasFilms (and potentially Adam Driver on "Star Wars") in order to continue creating original stories in lieu of pre-existing IP. Now, the filmmaking duo is finally collaborating with Driver on the mysterious new project.

Directors: Scott Beck, Bryan Woods
Writers: Scott Beck, Bryan Woods
Stars: Adam Driver, Ariana Greenblatt, Chloe Coleman

According to the official synopsis, after a catastrophic accident on an unknown planet, pilot Mills (Adam Driver) quickly discovers that he is actually stranded on Earth... 65 million years ago. Now, with only one chance at rescue, Mills and the sole survivor, Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), must fight their way through unfamiliar terrain plagued by dangerous prehistoric creatures in an epic fight for survival.

"For us, was the project that we wrote when 'A Quiet Place' came out and the studio decided it would be a franchise and a sequel," Woods explained during a virtual panel at the 2020 Nightstream Film Festival, as reported. by The Knockturnal. "We wrote 'A Quiet Place' because we were tired of the sequels. The only movies being made were sequels, franchises, and comic book movies. We wrote this movie out of that."

Beck added: "It's one that's been brewing in our heads for years and years." Driver was the lead in his dreams for "65" after Woods became "spellbound" by Driver's performance on the HBO series "Girls."

Beck then returned to his appreciation of Driver's talent. "From 'Stars Wars' to the Jim Jarmusch movies, everything he brings to a movie has many layers," he said. "It's really fun to see when the camera can pick up those layers."

The film was shot on location in Louisiana's Kisatchie National Forest and marks Driver's follow-up to Noah Baumbach's adaptation of “White Noise”. Driver will also appear in Francis Ford Coppola's star-studded “Megalopolis,” alongside Shia LaBeouf, Aubrey Plaza, Forest Whitaker, Dustin Hoffman, James Remar and Laurence Fishburne. Driver will also play Enzo Ferrari in the Michael Mann biopic "Ferrari."

“65” opens in theaters on March 10, 2023.

Heated Rivalry 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney wrote and directed the six-part series about two rising hockey stars who fall passionately in love. Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin entered the NHL in 2005. For more than 20 years, the Canadian star and his Russian counterpart have waged one of the greatest rivalries in the sport. They've won titles, medals, and scoring crowns, and both are still playing (with the same franchises that drafted them), having earned their place among hockey's all-time elite. Creator: Jacob Tierney Stars: Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, Callan Potter That's the underlying premise at the heart of HBO Max and Crave's new six-part romantic drama, Heated Rivalry, based on the book by Rachel Reid and written and directed by Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney. Don't expect many direct similarities to Letterkenny, though. Heated Rivalry may have some comedic elements, as relationships between passionate men are often entertaining, but it's a sincere a...

Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

The ending of Kantara: Chapter 1 returns us to the original film, a sequence in which young Shiva wonders what happened to the well that physically existed there many years ago, when the Naga tribe lived in harmony with nature, only to be forced to endure the invasion and destruction of the land they were supposed to protect.  The film is a winding tale of three cultures, two of which seem to drive the story about class and greed similarly to the original film; however, the third element is the Kadapa tribe, a people who seek to appropriate the power of the deities for themselves rather than worship them. At its core, it's a film about unity. It's about bringing people together to merge tradition with contemporary ideology. Kantara: Chapter 1 takes us directly into the heart of the Bangra Kingdom, a prosperous state with trade and all modern amenities, but with a powerful and greedy king. Director: Rishab Shetty Writers: Rishab Shetty, Anirudh Mahesh, Shanil Guru Stars: Rishab ...
