The Autobots leader and out hero Optimus prime is coming back for another Transformer movie as Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Trailer has been uploaded recently on multiple platforms. the prime focus of the movie is Bumblebee and optimus prime and the new autobots taking part in the Transformers universe, we also saw the another version of Optimus prime in the trailer as a gorilla. the trailer starts with Optimus primal saying that another threat is approaching earth that he never faced before.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is the seventh installment in the live-action film series that was first released with the high-action, high-Bayhem hit set directed by Michael Bay. The first trailer for the film arrived in early December and revealed a new breed of shape-shifting robots, including the gorilla-type, and a globe-trotting adventure purporting to be a sequel to Bumblebee.
It's become customary for every Transformers movie to feature Bumblebee in a leading role, as the yellow and black Chevrolet Camaro or Volkswagen Beetle share a strong bond with the human protagonist. This meant that Bumblebee was paired with Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf), Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg), and Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld) in the previous six movies. However, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts brings a different Autobot to the fore. Anthony Ramos's character is shown repeatedly with the Mirage, a silver and blue Porsche, in the film, indicating that Bumblebee's trend of being the primary human car/robot sidekick has been broken.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is set in the year 1994, a few years after Bumblebee's 1987 stint and before the Bay-endorsed movies.
Director Steven Caple Jr. and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura participated in a moderated panel in June 2021 to reveal the first details of the film. They confirmed that Optimus Prime is still the main character.
"He is new to the land. He doesn't have a connection to the land like he did when we met him in the Bay movies and in the animated series, where he is already a protector of the land," Di Bonaventura said. . "In this movie, he's figuring out why he has a link to humanity and why he has a link to the land, and that's emotional."
Rise of the Beasts will still have Autobots, like Bumblebee, and his main adversaries, the Decepticons. But we will also meet the Maximals, the Predacons and the Terrorcons when a war breaks out between them.
A villain named Scourge is the leader of the Terrorcons, and he likes to collect Autobots and Maximals, displaying them as trophies. "One of the cool features that Steven came up with is that Scourge basically removes the insignia from the robots he's killed and merges them with him, so he's like a living memorial to the havoc he's created," Di Bonaventura noted. .
"I want to go more horror in this one and make people jump out of their seats," Caple added.
Mirage is positioned to be the main Autobot in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, as the silver Porsche is shown repeatedly with Anthony Ramos' character. How the duo connect is unknown, but the trailer shows that Mirage is more than comfortable taking control in dangerous situations. The Mirage from Transformers 7 is voiced by Pete Davidson and has some special powers, the ability to turn invisible and create illusions. Longtime fans of the property may be confused about the character design considering that Mirage's G1 design is not a Porsche, but a Formula 1 race car.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts isn't the first time Mirage has appeared in the Transformers movie franchise. The Autobot made his debut in Transformers: Dark of the Moon as part of the partnership between NEST and the Autobots. In this guise, Mirage's car form was a Ferrari. It was shockingly revealed in Transformers: Age of Extinction that Mirage was killed by the CIA black ops team Cemetery Wind who were looking for Transformers. However, Transformers: The Last Knight twisted Mirage's fate to reveal that he was still alive. All of these events come after Transformers: Rise of the Beasts in the timeline.
Now that Transformers: Rise of the Beasts has bucked the trend of Bumblebee being the main Autobot for the human lead, the fan-favorite character could be booked for a smaller role than normal. The Transformers 7 trailer showed Bumblebee in dire straits after battling a villain, and he doesn't appear in other shots.
