Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre 2023 Movie Review Trailer Poster Online

Brash, bold and darkly funny are the three best words to describe Guy Ritchie's work. And he's channeling that same energy into his new spy action comedy that he writes and directs. His latest project, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre is another globe-trotting adventure of spies looking to save the world, but using their own crazy ways.

The plot follows special agent and elite spy Orson Fortune leading a team of undercover agents who must stop a billionaire arms dealer from trading a dangerous weapon. For their mission, they use a popular Hollywood star as bait. And the rest, as they say, is a Guy Ritchie movie.

Director: Guy Ritchie
Writers: Ivan Atkinson, Marn Davies, Guy Ritchie
Stars: Aubrey Plaza, Jason Statham, Hugh Grant

In addition to Ritchie, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre is also co-written by Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies. Jason Statham, who stars in the title role of Orson Fortune, also serves as a producer, along with Ivan Atkinson and Bill Block.

Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre follows the long line of Ritchie's film legacy of action-thriller comedies that include Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, RocknRolla, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., and the most recent The Gentlemen. So it's only natural to expect the new spy action flick to be a similarly fun page from Ritchie's playbook. Or more.

While you wait for the movie to be released, here's a rundown of the plot, trailer, release date, cast and characters, and everything else we know so far about Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre.

There are three main types of Star Wars stories. There's the kind where you write whatever you want and call it Star Wars, common in the many novels published in the 1990s. There's the kind where you recycle existing Star Wars stories and make them familiar; this has been the primary way of doing things at Disney. But finally, there are the stories that enthusiastically use Star Wars as a setting to create something new. There have been several novels that fit that profile, as did the first season of Andor, and now, four episodes in, it looks like the new Star Wars series The Acolyte, set a century before the movies, also fits the bill. in that category. . The Acolyte centers on a pair of twins, Osha and Mae (both played by Amandla Stenberg). The girls were raised by an unaffiliated coven of Force users, but despite living outside the Republic, the Jedi, including Carrie-Ann Moss's Indara, stuck their noses into these women's affairs, leading to the disaster. As a resu...
