Netflix today, March 5, 2022, announced its upcoming comedy drama through a short video clip featuring lead actress Sanya Malhotra dressed in the uniform of a police inspector.
Video of her shows her saying that her superior police officer believes she has complicated the case, but little does she know that her case has turned her life upside down.
Along with Sanya Malhotra who plays police officer Mahima Bosor, the film also stars TV actor Anant Vijay Joshi who is best known for playing the lead role of Bhaskar Tripathi in ALTBalaji's Virgin Bhasskar web series.
The film is directed by Yashowardhan Mishra who is making his directorial debut with this film. He also wrote the film's script along with acclaimed award-winning writer Ashok Mishra.
Ashok Mishra also wrote the screenplay for director Shyam Bengal's 2008 critically acclaimed film Welcome to Sajjanpur, starring Shreyas Talpade and Amrita Rao in lead roles.
The film is financed by Achin Jain's Guneet Monga and Sikhya Entertainment in association with filmmaker Ekta Kapoor and her mother Sobha Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures. Ruchika Kapoor is also one of the producers of the film under Balaji Motion Pictures.
This film will be leading lady Sanya Malhotra's second collaboration with Netflix, Sakhya Entertainment and Balaji Motion Pictures together, following director Umesh Bist's 2021 black comedy drama Pagglait.
