The teaser for Kartik Aaryan's upcoming movie Freddy is out. In the movie, he will be seen as a lonely and shy dentist. Actor Kartik Aaryan presented the first trailer for his upcoming movie, Freddy. In the film, he debuted as an introverted and shy-looking dentist, Freddy Ginwala, who appears to be a serial killer. Freddy is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and will premiere December 2 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Kartik Aaryan is one of the few actors whose movies didn't flop at Cinema Industries. Great artists like Salman Khan, Amir Khan and Akshya Kumar are underperforming, or arguably having the worst box office grosses aside from him. In this COVID Pendamic, Kartik Aaryan's most recent film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, was a box office hit.

The trailer opens with creepy music in the background. It presents Kartik as the 'lonely, naive, nervous, honest, introverted, shy' dentist among many more qualities of the actor's character. He is seen treating patients at a clinic during the day. During the night, Kartik becomes a murderer while dragging a body into the woods.

Kartik's creepy grin also makes him look like a convincing psycho killer. He is seen talking, smiling, and even walking on the moon to himself in the over 1-minute teaser video. Sharing the video, Kartik wrote, "Welcome to the world of #Freddy dating open Dec 2, 2022."

In reaction to the teaser, a fan wrote in the comments section, “wow.” “Now this is worth the wait,” added another. Someone also said, "You just killed him." Celebrities like Gajraj Rao and Dino Morea also praised the actor.

Freddy is Kartik's first film after the box office success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film also stars Alaya F in a key role. In addition to this, Kartik will next be seen in Shehzada, which marks his reunion with co-star Kriti Sanon after Luka Chuppi. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, the film will be released in February next year. It is the official Hindi remake of Allu Arjun's Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.

Kartik also has Satya Prem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani in his kitty. He has also appeared in Aashiqui 3. The creators have not yet revealed which actor will star alongside Kartik in Aashiqui 3.
