Stars: Fabio Caressa, Benedetta Parodi

"Love Is Blind Italia," produced for Netflix by Banijay Italia, "has begun casting and is now open to Italian residents," according to a statement from Netflix, which did not reveal when the streaming giant plans to release the Italian version of the show.

Since its 2020 US premiere, "Love Is Blind" has consistently ranked among the top 10 most-watched titles on Nielsen 23 times across six seasons in the United States, while also establishing itself as a global phenomenon.

The original series was created in the US by Kinetic Content, a subsidiary of The North Road Company. It has aired seven seasons on Netflix in the US.

Banijay Italia will produce the Italian version, and casting has already begun. No release plans have been announced yet.

The series follows a group of singles searching for love and choosing someone to marry without ever meeting them in person or any external distractions. When the wedding day arrives, they face the realities of marriage and external factors that could tear them apart.

The original American series "Love Is Blind" has spawned local adaptations in Japan, Brazil, Sweden, the UK, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Argentina, the UAE, and now, Italy.

The latest fully produced version of this addictive reality show, presented as a social "experiment" in which a group of singles enter soundproof "capsules" where they date other singles without being able to see their potential partner, is "Love is Blind: Habibi," which will premiere on Netflix on October 10 and was filmed in Dubai.

The British version, launched in August, shared the same synopsis as the American one, following 30 singles who "have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating and will choose someone to marry without even meeting them." The singles came from Dublin, London, Edinburgh, and places in between, aged between 27 and 38, and included a chicken restaurateur, a techno DJ, and a baby photographer.

Heated Rivalry 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney wrote and directed the six-part series about two rising hockey stars who fall passionately in love. Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin entered the NHL in 2005. For more than 20 years, the Canadian star and his Russian counterpart have waged one of the greatest rivalries in the sport. They've won titles, medals, and scoring crowns, and both are still playing (with the same franchises that drafted them), having earned their place among hockey's all-time elite. Creator: Jacob Tierney Stars: Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, Callan Potter That's the underlying premise at the heart of HBO Max and Crave's new six-part romantic drama, Heated Rivalry, based on the book by Rachel Reid and written and directed by Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney. Don't expect many direct similarities to Letterkenny, though. Heated Rivalry may have some comedic elements, as relationships between passionate men are often entertaining, but it's a sincere a...

Dhurandhar 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

Dhurandhar's story unfolds against the backdrop of significant terrorist attacks in India, focusing particularly on harrowing incidents such as the hijacking of flight IC-814 in Kandahar in 1999, the Parliament attack in 2001, and the devastating 26/11 Mumbai attacks in 2008. The film depicts a daring covert operation led by the head of India's Intelligence Bureau, Ajay Sanyal, played by R. Madhavan. The film delves into the underbelly of Karachi, particularly the dangerous Lyari region, following the journey of Hamza, played by Ranveer Singh.  Hamza is introduced as an Indian agent who infiltrates Karachi's notoriously violent gang culture to dismantle terrorist operations from within. Structured in several chapters, the film introduces the viewer to a complex narrative that explores themes of revenge, sacrifice, and national security. The first half successfully intertwines traumatic real-life events with fiction, creating a thought-provoking plot that encourages audience...

Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

The ending of Kantara: Chapter 1 returns us to the original film, a sequence in which young Shiva wonders what happened to the well that physically existed there many years ago, when the Naga tribe lived in harmony with nature, only to be forced to endure the invasion and destruction of the land they were supposed to protect.  The film is a winding tale of three cultures, two of which seem to drive the story about class and greed similarly to the original film; however, the third element is the Kadapa tribe, a people who seek to appropriate the power of the deities for themselves rather than worship them. At its core, it's a film about unity. It's about bringing people together to merge tradition with contemporary ideology. Kantara: Chapter 1 takes us directly into the heart of the Bangra Kingdom, a prosperous state with trade and all modern amenities, but with a powerful and greedy king. Director: Rishab Shetty Writers: Rishab Shetty, Anirudh Mahesh, Shanil Guru Stars: Rishab ...
