Sardaar Ji 3, directed by Diljit Dosanjh, Hania Aamir, and Neeru Bajwa, swept the international box office despite controversies and a lack of release in India. In five days, the horror-comedy has reached a total gross of $25.72 crores. This includes significant earnings in the United States, Canada, Pakistan, Australia, and other countries.
Diljit Dosanjh and Hania Aamir are taking the box office by storm in Pakistan, and the horror-comedy has achieved the second-highest opening day and weekend gross in the territory for an Indian film, surpassing Salman Khan's Sultan.

In five days, Sardaar Ji 3 grossed $450,000 in Pakistan. This is equivalent to about 3.84 crores Indian rupees. Meanwhile, the film is close to surpassing the total box office gross of Shah Rukh Khan's "Happy New Year" in Pakistan. The film grossed $460,000 in Pakistan!
This horror-comedy was reportedly produced on a budget of Rs 350 million. The film has already grossed Rs 250 million overseas and could become a box office success if it manages to stay in theaters for another week.
Diljit Dosanjh's film has grossed a total of $3 million at the international box office. It has already surpassed the worldwide gross of the first installment of the franchise, "Sardaar Ji," which grossed $2.02 million worldwide.
Diljit Dosanjh's film is just 10.48 crores away from its next milestone: the highest-grossing Punjabi film of 2025. The comedy Saunkan Saunkanay 2, directed by Ammy Virk, Sargun Mehta, and Nimrat Khaira, is the highest-grossing Punjabi film worldwide, with a global gross of 34.8 crores. Diljit Dosanjh's film is almost 10.48 crores away from reaching this figure!
Diljit Dosanjh's Sardaar Ji 3 was released in theaters worldwide on June 27. Despite not having a theatrical release in India due to criticism over the casting of Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, the film has had a huge impact globally. The horror-comedy grossed 33.60 crores overseas in just one week.
Diljit Dosanjh's team shared the news in an Instagram post on Friday.
"SARDAAR JI 3 breaks records abroad." The poster read: "MASSIVE GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT. ONE WEEK: 33.60 CR* (GROSS) SARDAARJI 3. NOW IN THEATERS."
Although Sardaar Ji 3 has not been released in India, it is playing in Pakistani theaters and, according to social media videos, is receiving excellent reception. It is directed by Amar Hundal and produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu, Manmord Sidhu, and Diljit Dosanjh.
Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh found himself embroiled in controversy after it was revealed that he would be co-starring with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in Sardaar Ji 3. The producers only released the film internationally amidst the ongoing diplomatic and military tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22, 2025.
In an interview with BBC Asian Network, Diljit Dosanjh responded to the controversy: "When this film was made, everything was going well. We shot it in February, and everything was going well back then. Then, a lot of major events happened that were beyond our control. So, the producers decided that the film, obviously, wouldn't be released in India, so they would release it abroad. The producers have invested a lot of money, and when the film was being shot, nothing like that was happening."
