Blind Spot 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

Blind Spot, written and directed by Rakesh Verma, falls into clichés that make the narrative somewhat predictable and less exciting than it could have been. The film has really interesting subplots with a lot of potential, but I think at some point, due to unexpected twists, that potential wasn't fully realized. That said, let's find out what happened in Blind Spot and who was behind Divya's murder.

All couples argue from time to time, all marriages have their problems, but sometimes the relationship deteriorates so much over time that nothing can fix it. I think Divya and Jayaram's relationship had reached that point. They didn't make an effort to understand each other and, on top of that, they got on each other's nerves. Jayaram couldn't stand Divya for a second, and there were days when he would book a hotel room and stay there alone to enjoy moments of peace and quiet where no one would bother him. Divya doubted Jayaram's loyalty and openly mocked him, making his life miserable. One night, just before Jayaram left home to catch a flight, he had a heated argument with Divya.

Jayaram had reached a point where he simply stopped reacting to anything his wife said, which frustrated Divya even more. Laxmi, the maid, tried to intervene, but Divya slapped her in a rage. It seemed that she held a grudge against Laxmi and disliked her meddling in her personal affairs. Jayaram didn't like how his wife disrespected Laxmi, and unable to control his urges, he slapped her back. Divya felt humiliated and stormed out of the living room to go to her bedroom. Jayaram left to catch his flight after the incident, and Laxmi returned to her housework. Later that night, Laxmi asked Divya to leave her room as her baby was crying. When she didn't get a response, Laxmi entered the room and found that Divya had taken her own life.

Laxmi informed the police about what had happened, and that's when Constable Vikram arrived at the scene and took over the investigation. It didn't take Vikram long to conclude that Divya hadn't committed suicide but had been murdered. Jayaram's brother, Aditya, was asked to come to their house as the police couldn't reach him at the time. Aditya had just joined the National Investigation Agency (NIA) and couldn't understand why anyone would take Divya's life. Jayaram also returned home, and that's when certain revelations were made that opened Pandora's box.

Vikram's first suspects were Laxmi and Jayaram, and he learned that the two were having an affair, something Divya would obviously have taken issue with. Laxmi had called Jayaram after finding Divya dead in her room. Jayaram told her to call the police and not to tell them that she had called him first. Jayaram did so because, just before leaving, he had argued with Divya and knew the police would think he had something to do with her death. Vikram learned that Jayaram had a son from his first wife who was not mentally well. After speaking to him, Vikram discovered that, after Jayaram left and before Laxmi found Divya's body, Laxmi had gone to his house for a while.

Laxmi lived nearby, and when questioned, she made no secret that she had, in fact, returned and left Jayaram and Divya's young son unattended for a while. Laxmi stated that, after reuniting with her daughter and sweeping the rainwater that had entered her house, she returned to Jayaram's house and found Divya dead. But according to Vikram, that's not what happened. In a shocking move, Vikram called Laxmi's daughter, Manasa, and asked her point-blank why she had killed Divya. Vikram had found a piece of Manasa's earring at Jayaram's house, so he was certain that it was she who had an altercation with Divya that resulted in the latter's death. Manasa admitted that she did have a fight with Divya, although she had no intention of killing her. Manasa told the police how Divya treated her and her mother.

It was also revealed that Manasa was the daughter of Laxmi and Jayaram, which is (probably) why Divya couldn't stand the sight of her. Although Laxmi was a rather reserved person and resigned herself to her treatment, Manasa wanted to take what belonged to her. She didn't like that Divya was upsetting her father so much and making her mother's life miserable. Vikram thought he had found her killer, but he hadn't. The forensic report stated that although Divya had a head injury (as a result of Manasa's altercation with her), that was not the cause of her death. It was also mentioned that Divya had likely been drugged, which is why she died.

Vikram returned to the crime scene and, once again, got a breakthrough and discovered that Jayaram's son Vinod was hiding something from them. Divya had even treated Vinod badly, and the boy had grown to hate the woman. He took a poisonous chemical and mixed it with Divya's juice. After analyzing it, it was learned that even that didn't cause Divya's death. The mystery seemed to get more complicated every day. Vikram didn't know what to do or how to find the killer. But then the forensic experts made a crucial discovery. They informed him that the substance used to poison Divya was extremely rare, so much so that it couldn't be detected in a normal autopsy.

The forensic expert explained that the killer was an extremely skilled and experienced man, with extensive knowledge of forensic science and how to murder a person without leaving a trace. From that moment on, Vikram suspected Jayaram's brother, Aditya, who belonged to the NIA. He was an expert in the investigation process; he knew how the criminal mind worked and how people got away with murder due to lack of evidence. Just a couple of days after it was revealed that a very rare drug had been used to kill Divya, a fire broke out in the forensic lab, and all the files and evidence were destroyed.

Vikram inspected the area and found a fragment of Aditya's ID on the floor, making it clear that he was the killer and that he had set arson to destroy evidence. But there was a twist at the end of Blindspot, and it emerged that everyone had been blinded by the real killer. Vikram went to Aditya's house to arrest him, but Aditya overpowered him and took him to the IAS headquarters.

In reality, Aditya was conducting his own investigation in parallel and had uncovered certain details that made it clear that Vikram was the one who had murdered Divya. Yes, Vikram, the police officer who had been investigating the case, was the killer, and he had played his cards so well that no one ever found out. A few days before Vikram was arrested, Jayaram's neighbor had shown everyone the security camera footage of an anonymous man entering Divya's room through the window. When Aditya investigated, he found Vikram's watch crown (the rotating button on the side that sets the time) just below Divya's window.

He sent it for analysis, and it was found to contain traces of Divya's blood and the drug used to kill her. Now, since the crown belonged to an expensive watch, he knew he could send it to the company and find out who the buyer was. This evidence was enough to prove Vikram's guilt. After realizing he couldn't evade conviction, he told Aditya the motive for the murder. Vikram had had a difficult childhood and had had to work very hard from a young age to earn a living. Vikram met Divya, and the two fell in love. Divya's presence gave Vikram a promising future. Vikram was selected for the police force, and the Inspector General, impressed by his work ethic and talent, offered him his daughter's hand in marriage.

Vikram loved Divya, but he knew that marrying the Inspector General's daughter would give him a promotion to the top of the social hierarchy. He should have told his superior about their relationship, but he chose to remain silent. He married Shweta, the Inspector General's daughter, and Divya simply couldn't accept it. Later, Divya also married Jayaram, but she couldn't forget Vikram. Moreover, we learned that Vikram was the biological father of her child, something Jayaram probably didn't know. There came a point when Divya started blackmailing Vikram to be with her, and that's when he decided to kill her. According to Aditya, Vikram used the crown of his watch to inject Divya with the drug, and within hours she died.

In the Blindspot ending, Vikram was sent to prison, and I think the guilt of ruining the life of a girl who loved him so much would haunt him forever. He knew that, no matter what reasons he gave or how he justified his actions, he had let his greed ruin Divya's life and even his own.

The Acolyte 2024 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

There are three main types of Star Wars stories. There's the kind where you write whatever you want and call it Star Wars, common in the many novels published in the 1990s. There's the kind where you recycle existing Star Wars stories and make them familiar; this has been the primary way of doing things at Disney. But finally, there are the stories that enthusiastically use Star Wars as a setting to create something new. There have been several novels that fit that profile, as did the first season of Andor, and now, four episodes in, it looks like the new Star Wars series The Acolyte, set a century before the movies, also fits the bill. in that category. . The Acolyte centers on a pair of twins, Osha and Mae (both played by Amandla Stenberg). The girls were raised by an unaffiliated coven of Force users, but despite living outside the Republic, the Jedi, including Carrie-Ann Moss's Indara, stuck their noses into these women's affairs, leading to the disaster. As a resu...
