Denny Tedesco introduced the world to Wrecking Crew with the release of his film of the same name. Now Tedesco has made a sequel to that doc and is introducing the world to Immediate Family with his new film titled Immediate Family. These musicians emerged with the rise of singer-songwriter popularity, backing artists such as James Taylor; Stevie Nicks; Phil collins; Crosby, stills, Nash and Young; and many others. You may think you haven't heard them, but that's right, you absolutely have.
Also known as the legendary studio ensemble, “The Section,” Immediate Family is comprised of guitarist/vocalist Danny Kortchmar, guitarist/vocalist Waddy Wachtel, bassist Leland Sklar, drummer Russ Kunkel, and guitarist/vocalist Steve Postell. These incredible talents were some of the first musicians whose contributions the albums they played on were credited with. These credits would change the trajectory of their careers and lives forever.
