 Andrew Walker, known for his role in “Three Wise Men and a Baby,” joins forces with Rachel Skarsten on Hallmark Channel’s “Christmas Island,” part of the Countdown to Christmas 2023 lineup.


In the film's plot, a pilot, Kate, who faces an unexpected landing during her inaugural private flight, forms a special connection. While detoured from flying a wealthy family to Switzerland due to a snowstorm, Kate teams up with an air traffic controller on Christmas Island to land her dream job as the family's pilot.

Rachel Skarsten, known for her portrayal of Black Canary/Dinah Lance on The WB series Birds of Prey, as well as her roles in Lost Girl, Wyonna Earp and Batwoman, takes on a lead role. Andrew Walker, a longtime Hallmark Movies fixture with more than 20 credits including “My Christmas Family Tree” and “Maple Valley Christmas,” is also part of the cast. He has also appeared on television shows such as ER and Without a Trace.


For those who miss the premiere on Hallmark Channel, the film will be available on demand the next day through cable providers. Hallmark Channel has a partnership with Peacock, allowing subscribers to access new movies on the streaming platform. Additionally, the film can be watched on Philo, Sling TV, Frndly TV, Hulu with Live TV, YouTube TV, and Fubo. While Hallmark Movies Now offers a streaming option, access to new movies like those in the Countdown to Christmas 2023 lineup requires a subscription to the channel.
