A Good Person 2023 Movie Review Trailer Poster Online

A Good Person is the latest film to star Florence Pugh, who was last seen alongside rookie actor Harry Styles in Don't Worry Darling.

Now, British star Florence stars alongside Tinseltown royalty Morgan Freeman in her new film A Good Person. This time she seems to stray from her usual glamor as she takes on the role of Allison, who is recovering from an addiction to opiates and dealing with unresolved grief.

Director: Zach Braff
Writer: Zach Braff
Stars: Florence Pugh, Morgan Freeman, Celeste O'Connor

Written and directed by Garden State director Zach Braff, we see Allison survive an unimaginable tragedy, but when her life hits rock bottom, she strikes up an unlikely friendship with her father-in-law Daniel (Morgan Freeman).

“I am so proud of this creation,” Pugh posted on Instagram. "I'm so grateful to everyone who came aboard this crazy ride with us."

A Good Person will be released on 28 April 2023 on Sky Cinema in the UK. Prior to that, the film will be shown in UK cinemas in March 2023. We will update on the UK theatrical release, plus US and international release dates when we hear back. We'll also update when we know if it's coming to a streaming service like Netflix or Prime Video.

A Good Person casting Morgan Freeman as Daniel, a gentle model train enthusiast grieving the loss of his daughter and struggling to raise his granddaughter. Instead of blaming Allison (Florence Pugh) for her role in her tragedy, he befriends her, and the pair somehow manage to make their way together.

Allison is a former opioid addict who was in a terrible car accident that killed her soon-to-be sister-in-law, Daniel's daughter. While seeking help for her onboarding years later, Allison runs into Daniel, who surprisingly shares her own struggles with her. Finally, the couple realizes that friendship and forgiveness are powerful tools that can heal the deepest wounds.

Florence Pugh stars as Allison, who is struggling to forgive herself for her past. She recently starred in the Netflix movie The Wonder, as well as Don't Worry Darling. Florence made her film debut in The Falling in 2014 and since then she has had roles in Little Women, Midsommer, Lady Macbeth, Fighting with my Family, Malevolent, Black Widow and Hawkeye.

Heated Rivalry 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney wrote and directed the six-part series about two rising hockey stars who fall passionately in love. Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin entered the NHL in 2005. For more than 20 years, the Canadian star and his Russian counterpart have waged one of the greatest rivalries in the sport. They've won titles, medals, and scoring crowns, and both are still playing (with the same franchises that drafted them), having earned their place among hockey's all-time elite. Creator: Jacob Tierney Stars: Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, Callan Potter That's the underlying premise at the heart of HBO Max and Crave's new six-part romantic drama, Heated Rivalry, based on the book by Rachel Reid and written and directed by Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney. Don't expect many direct similarities to Letterkenny, though. Heated Rivalry may have some comedic elements, as relationships between passionate men are often entertaining, but it's a sincere a...

Dhurandhar 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

Dhurandhar's story unfolds against the backdrop of significant terrorist attacks in India, focusing particularly on harrowing incidents such as the hijacking of flight IC-814 in Kandahar in 1999, the Parliament attack in 2001, and the devastating 26/11 Mumbai attacks in 2008. The film depicts a daring covert operation led by the head of India's Intelligence Bureau, Ajay Sanyal, played by R. Madhavan. The film delves into the underbelly of Karachi, particularly the dangerous Lyari region, following the journey of Hamza, played by Ranveer Singh.  Hamza is introduced as an Indian agent who infiltrates Karachi's notoriously violent gang culture to dismantle terrorist operations from within. Structured in several chapters, the film introduces the viewer to a complex narrative that explores themes of revenge, sacrifice, and national security. The first half successfully intertwines traumatic real-life events with fiction, creating a thought-provoking plot that encourages audience...

Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

The ending of Kantara: Chapter 1 returns us to the original film, a sequence in which young Shiva wonders what happened to the well that physically existed there many years ago, when the Naga tribe lived in harmony with nature, only to be forced to endure the invasion and destruction of the land they were supposed to protect.  The film is a winding tale of three cultures, two of which seem to drive the story about class and greed similarly to the original film; however, the third element is the Kadapa tribe, a people who seek to appropriate the power of the deities for themselves rather than worship them. At its core, it's a film about unity. It's about bringing people together to merge tradition with contemporary ideology. Kantara: Chapter 1 takes us directly into the heart of the Bangra Kingdom, a prosperous state with trade and all modern amenities, but with a powerful and greedy king. Director: Rishab Shetty Writers: Rishab Shetty, Anirudh Mahesh, Shanil Guru Stars: Rishab ...
