 Monica O My Darling Release Date 2022: After being declared over a year ago, filming has finally started on the movie “Monica, O My Darling” starring the brilliant Rajkummar Rao. Now, the people who made the movie have said that the filming is coming to an end and the first screening will be held very soon on a huge online platform.

Speaking of Monica, O My Darling, is a crime comedy film directed by Vasan Bala who is known for his Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (2018), 83 (2021), and Psycho Raman (2016), etc. At the ceremony, which was hosted in Mumbai, the filmmakers shared that previously Sriram Raghavan was the person on board to direct the film, but due to his busy schedule, he was unable to attend to direct the upcoming film.


The film is seized by Yogesh Chandekar and financed by Sarita Patil and Sanjay Routray under the banner of Matchbox Shots. On the technical front, Sukesh Vishwanath is starting the camera, Atanu Mukherjee is editing, and Achint Thakkar has composed the music.


The film has a promising starcast and features actor Rajkummar Rao in the title character. His most recent release film is the action thriller HIT: The First Case, which in turn is the Hindi adaptation of the Telugu blockbuster of the same name.


Alongside him, the film stars acclaimed actress Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte as the lead female characters. Huma's highly successful drama web series Maharani returned for its second season on Sony LIV on August 25, 2022, while Radhika was most recently seen in the psychological thriller Forensic: The Truth Lies Within, the remake of the Forensic film in Malayalam of 2020.


Along with the main star cast, the crime comedy drama film also features Radhika Madan, Sikandar Kher, Akanksha Ranjan Kapoor, and Bagavathi Perumal, etc. All the actors that appear in the film are the sources of talent.


Netflix released a 1-minute trailer for the film on August 30, 2022, just one day before his birthday. The trailer begins with Rajkummar Rao's character, Jayant, telling Nikki that he belongs to a small town called Angola.


As the trailer progresses, it shows Huma Qureshi in a powerful yet mysterious character. She can also be seen destroying a tiger statue with a sharp knife in one of the scenes. Plus, it gives us a glimpse of Radhika Apte giving Jayant advice on how to tell a good story.


For a brief moment, Sikandar Kher also appeared in the trailer for the film. Where he remembers the leading role, he is still just a prince of Angola. Although one could not guess what the film has to offer. We can say that it would be fun to watch due to the presence of both entertainment and comedy.
