Heavenly Ever After 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Heavenly Ever After is a K-drama that feels almost like a strange kind of fan fiction. The series tells the story of a woman who decides to stay 80 when she goes to heaven because her husband once told her she looks prettier at her current age. However, the real reason the situation feels so complicated is that her husband decided to become younger again, but she stayed old.

Somehow, even in heaven, this is an almost unacceptable relationship. Not because people gossip or anything, but simply because it seems weird. In this episode, we see some adorable little animals because it reminds us that our pets have feelings too and that dogs are so loyal that they will be with us even in the afterlife—or rather, they will be waiting for us. Much of the series makes no sense, like why people are filming heaven and why pets have to become humanoid once they cross the pearly gates, or even the cult leader who is the manager.

Stars: Han Ji-min, Son Suk-ku, Lee Jeong-eun

Anyway, with that said, let's get straight to the episode. In the first half of episode 2 of Heavenly Ever After, we see Nak-Joon and Hae-Sook trying to catch up. Nak-Joon is usually a bit of a jerk or something like, "How could you make such a trivial mistake?" The funny thing is that Hae-Sook has this device that tells her what's on her mind when she's not being truthful, something heaven does for people over 80, but this device frustrates her because everyone around her can hear her thoughts.

Nak-Joon takes Hae-Sook to the park, where he runs nonstop until he's completely exhausted. It's something he's wanted to do ever since he became paralyzed. Back then, when Hae-Sook asked him what he would do if his legs ever worked again, he said he would run until he felt like they didn't work anymore. I guess the point of this kind of heaven on earth is to fulfill your wishes and live life to the fullest. At home, in the park, or even when they have to sleep, Hae-Sook feels self-conscious.

Even when it seems like Nak-Joon doesn't mind her being older, as he often calls her pretty and cute, as always. Hae-Sook would rather sleep separately, like on Earth, with her on a mattress on the floor next to her bed, because she couldn't move. The next day, Nak-Joon takes her to work, which feels almost like a bank for the dead. There, you can use your wrist as a debit card to buy food and get answers to your questions. This is where Hae-Sook meets the center's director. He has a glowing white halo around him because he's higher up in the heavenly order, but Nak-Joon doesn't.

Hae-Sook is sent to a heavenly orientation, where she meets a couple of daughters-in-law who made a deal on Earth: the mother-in-law would become the daughter-in-law's daughter. They kept the promise, which is strange, but also shows that in heaven, anything is possible. At the orientation, the main lesson is that those who misbehave can also go to hell. Nothing lasts forever, so you have to follow the rules and behave.

Heated Rivalry 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney wrote and directed the six-part series about two rising hockey stars who fall passionately in love. Sidney Crosby and Alexander Ovechkin entered the NHL in 2005. For more than 20 years, the Canadian star and his Russian counterpart have waged one of the greatest rivalries in the sport. They've won titles, medals, and scoring crowns, and both are still playing (with the same franchises that drafted them), having earned their place among hockey's all-time elite. Creator: Jacob Tierney Stars: Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, Callan Potter That's the underlying premise at the heart of HBO Max and Crave's new six-part romantic drama, Heated Rivalry, based on the book by Rachel Reid and written and directed by Letterkenny veteran Jacob Tierney. Don't expect many direct similarities to Letterkenny, though. Heated Rivalry may have some comedic elements, as relationships between passionate men are often entertaining, but it's a sincere a...

Dhurandhar's story unfolds against the backdrop of significant terrorist attacks in India, focusing particularly on harrowing incidents such as the hijacking of flight IC-814 in Kandahar in 1999, the Parliament attack in 2001, and the devastating 26/11 Mumbai attacks in 2008. Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1 2025 Movie Review Trailer Poster

The ending of Kantara: Chapter 1 returns us to the original film, a sequence in which young Shiva wonders what happened to the well that physically existed there many years ago, when the Naga tribe lived in harmony with nature, only to be forced to endure the invasion and destruction of the land they were supposed to protect.  The film is a winding tale of three cultures, two of which seem to drive the story about class and greed similarly to the original film; however, the third element is the Kadapa tribe, a people who seek to appropriate the power of the deities for themselves rather than worship them. At its core, it's a film about unity. It's about bringing people together to merge tradition with contemporary ideology. Kantara: Chapter 1 takes us directly into the heart of the Bangra Kingdom, a prosperous state with trade and all modern amenities, but with a powerful and greedy king. Director: Rishab Shetty Writers: Rishab Shetty, Anirudh Mahesh, Shanil Guru Stars: Rishab ...
