When I started watching Just Alice, I couldn't believe the plot I was witnessing. The series begins with Alice's chaotic life. She's supposed to be getting married and has just landed. Now, she has to pick up her dress, get her makeup done, and get ready in just 3 hours before the wedding. Everything seems fine until you realize that this is her second marriage. And that's fine too. But she's getting married for the second time while still married to her writer husband, who is perfectly alive. Now, the next question you might ask yourself is: Does her first husband know? Obviously not, and that's what the whole plot is about.
It's not that her relationship with her first husband, Alejo, is bad. He loves her and talks openly about her in his latest book. But she loves both him and her second husband, a former priest named Pablo. Both husbands are unaware of their wife's other marriages. And we can already see how this is taking a toll on Alice, who struggles to juggle both worlds. On one hand, to be present at her second wedding, she skips the launch of her first husband's latest book.

On the other hand, she doesn't spend her wedding night with her new husband, as she has to rush back to her first husband. But the question that arises is: Who is she really in love with? She claims to be in love with both. There's a lot at stake, and the risks are high. This double marriage could shatter the lives of both men she's married to.
The series is undoubtedly entertaining, and although you question the plot, in the end, you get carried away and watch how the drama unfolds. I don't know why the creators chose this story or what they wanted to show us with it. It's not even about Alice being a gold digger. So the idea and the thought process behind this plot are a mystery to us. Aside from that, there's comedy, drama, and steamy scenes. At first, I was baffled, but then the series turned into a great gossip drama for viewers. This makes it worth watching. Yes, the plot shouldn't have been stretched to 19 episodes. While it progresses at a good pace, at times the creators stretched the plot too much to make it last 19 episodes.
In short, if you want to watch something spicy, tune into Alice's chaotic life and witness how she gets herself into trouble. It will make you think: can someone be in love with two people at once? Is it so difficult to let go of a love that you end up getting married a second time? Some questions will never be answered. That's for sure. And perhaps you'll understand Alice's mind better by watching the series. It may not be the best show you'll ever see, but it has enough to keep you entertained for a good while.
