When the Stars Gossip 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

The ending of When The Stars Gossip reminds us that everything is a cycle and if one thing doesn't work, another will. However, the overly sentimental drama didn't pull off its second half well enough to have an impact on that ending. What's worse is that the last episode feels like you've hopped on a bullet train, while the middle part of the show felt like a drag.

I guess the writers had an idea - The universe is like a womb and a tomb - and they went with it; what happened in between just wasn't important. The ending goes from Eve finding out she's pregnant to her giving birth, and then I wish I could say the rest is history, which I guess makes sense for the show, but man, I absolutely hated that ending. But we're not here to review the show, so let's just jump right into the ending of When The Stars Gossip.

Stars: Lee Min-ho, Kong Hyo-jin, Oh Jung-se

The first half of the final episode takes Ryong back into space, this time with even less build-up than before. He is the only gynecologist in the world who would be willing to risk his life to save Eve. So of course, everyone on Earth is willing to send him there, even if it goes against everything they have stood for so far and the fact that he is supposed to be in prison. Somehow, just knowing that the baby is his is enough for him to forget everything that happened between him and Eve and go to her aid. Meanwhile, Eve, who is guilty about the morula, swears that she will not let this baby go, because she cannot bear to end another life.

Ryong goes to space when Eve is bleeding due to some discomfort. He heals her and then tells her that they need to go back together. She refuses to go because she wants to keep the baby alive, and he refuses to go back without her, which means that he will not be able to walk when he returns home and will probably lose his sight as well. They are both stubborn, and Eve really wants this baby, but Ryong convinces her to go back. She's too eager to fly back, so they abort the mission, leaving Ryong on the space station for much longer than intended.

Also, the guy told his moms he was "going away" for a while, and I hate that they probably found out much later what was going on. The women go to clean Ryong's house to surprise him when he gets back, but Na-Mi finds the document on the desk proving that Eve is actually his daughter. Now she feels guilty for giving up her baby even though she clearly never wanted one to begin with. Suddenly, it's time for Eve to give birth in space, and the moms plan to send her blood. Unfortunately, Na-Mi can't give Eve her blood even as her biological mother.

I guess since things have already been illegal the whole time and nothing can make things worse, everyone hopes that Eve can give birth to a healthy baby in space and essentially "save humanity" with whatever that means to them. They find out that Eve is healthy enough to have a natural birth, but the big risk is that if she fractures her pelvic bone from pushing too hard, there’s no way they can save her. Unfortunately, this is what ends up happening after Eve’s birth. You know, in all honesty, I enjoyed watching the mini family drama where we got to witness Ryong, Eve, and Byeol chilling on Earth in a dream sequence. Honestly, it would have made for a good show because there’s chemistry there. Anyway, they named the baby Byeol because she was born in space, and what better name than “star” for a baby born between them? A shining light for all of humanity, huh? Eve dies a day after Byeol’s birth. It’s a shame really, because she was so excited to live and start this new chapter of life. Eve didn’t have to have the baby in space – she could have gone back to Earth and done it there with Ryong, but instead, she decided to be the first human to give birth in space, I guess.

Then, we jump to a year later, when Byeol is celebrating her first birthday in space. At that time, the chief, Dong-A, and Eun-Soo are on the station with Ryong. While all the other astronauts have rotated, Ryong stayed the whole time because he wanted to be a good father. I think we can imagine that since Mina and Seung-Jun have been through so much together, they probably end up together forever. This whole ordeal leads to Ryong's dreams of opening a clinic in space to eradicate infertility being fulfilled thanks to the MZ group and Kang-Su. Go-Eun is now the CEO (plus, we can appreciate that pink outfit!), and he proposes to her on Byeol's birthday in front of the press.

The Acolyte 2024 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

There are three main types of Star Wars stories. There's the kind where you write whatever you want and call it Star Wars, common in the many novels published in the 1990s. There's the kind where you recycle existing Star Wars stories and make them familiar; this has been the primary way of doing things at Disney. But finally, there are the stories that enthusiastically use Star Wars as a setting to create something new. There have been several novels that fit that profile, as did the first season of Andor, and now, four episodes in, it looks like the new Star Wars series The Acolyte, set a century before the movies, also fits the bill. in that category. . The Acolyte centers on a pair of twins, Osha and Mae (both played by Amandla Stenberg). The girls were raised by an unaffiliated coven of Force users, but despite living outside the Republic, the Jedi, including Carrie-Ann Moss's Indara, stuck their noses into these women's affairs, leading to the disaster. As a resu...

Zero Day 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

Angela Bassett, Joan Allen, Connie Britton, Jesse Plemons, and Lizzy Caplan co-star in a series about politicians trying to find answers after a deadly cyberattack. During a break in the second half of Netflix’s six-part political thriller Zero Day (and there are more breaks than there should be), I began to contemplate how much more efficiently the show’s central crisis could be resolved with the help of Owen Hendricks, the protagonist of Netflix’s The Recruit, or Peter Sutherland, the protagonist of Netflix’s The Night Agent. Creators: Eric Newman, Noah Oppenheim, Michael Schmidt Stars: Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Lizzy Caplan The last few Netflix political thrillers have largely become fungible due to the streaming platform’s compact release schedule. The Diplomat is the best of this bunch, so I’ll leave it out of the conversation. The Recruit is a silly show, but it dives into its absurdities with a reckless, fast-paced abandon that I appreciate. The Night Agent takes itsel...

Cassandra 2025 Tv Series Review Trailer Poster

The science fiction genre is a testament to man’s obsession with robots. The idea of creating an entity that would take care of mundane or even complex tasks has always been an exciting prospect, and it’s almost instinctive to imagine advancements in robotics whenever we talk about the future. With Tesla’s Optimus breaking the internet recently, having a home robot may no longer be a far-fetched dream. The German Netflix series Cassandra revolves around a robot that was created to be a house companion in the early 70s but has since been abandoned. When a family moved into the smart home, the system was suddenly activated and soon trouble began. The story of the rogue robot is not a new one; it usually starts with a bug in programming or an advancement in technology that makes robots realize they can defeat humans to take over their world. But Cassandra is not your typical story of a robot going rogue; it’s much more detailed than that. And while dramatically the details and back...
